Rebutia grandiflora (yellow) - CROWN CACTUS
Rebutia is a genus of small, easy-to-grow cactus plants that are beloved by cactus enthusiasts for their stunning blooms and compact, clumping growth habit. These compact cacti produce vibrant flowers that emerge from the sides of the plant, often in shades of red, orange, pink, or yellow. Despite the size of the cactus, the flowers are impressively large, making them a popular choice for adding bursts of color to small spaces.

- Winter care: A cooler winter dormancy period is crucial for blooming in the spring. Protect from prolonged freezing temperatures.
- During the growing season (spring/summer): Water thoroughly, but only when the soil is completely dry. During the dormant season (fall/winter): Drastically reduce watering, only watering lightly if the plant begins to shrivel.
- Feeding: Fertilize once a month during the active growing season with a diluted, low-nitrogen cactus fertilizer. DO NOT FERTILIZE during the dormant season.
