    Botanical Names: Rebutia albiflora, Aylostera albiflora

    Name Meaning:

    • Rebutia: Named after Pierre Rebut (1827-1902), a French botanist who specialized in cacti.
    • albiflora: Latin albus,"white" + flos, "flower", describing the plant's white, funel-shaped flowers.

    Native Range: South America (rocky, arid habitats in the Andean mountains of Bolivia and Argentina)
