Haworthia are able to tolerate low, indoor light, making them excellent houseplants, even for beginners.     Botanical Name: Haworthia retusa 'White Ghost'

    Name Meaning: 

    • Haworthia: honors the British entomologist, botanist, and carcinologist Adrian Hardy Haworth (1768-1833).
    • retusa: Latin retusus, "blunt" or "notched", referring to the plant's distinctly rounded or truncated leaf tips that curve backward.

    Plant Family: Asphodelaceae (asparagoid lilies)

    Native Range: South Africa (semi-arid regions of Cape Province)
